CBX Managing Director Satoru Wakeshima joined Adam Peek on his podcast, People of Packaging, to chat packaging, music, and emotion in branding and design strategy. Wakeshima delved into his passion for emotional branding, explaining our unique job at CBX: to help our clients’ brands connect with people. We’re in the business of creating the latter. In today’s digital age, we receive and react to millions of messages every day. In our brand strategy and portfolio architecture for clients, we study this to understand what the insights are that drive people to make decisions, and design brands around that. Within packaging specifically, Satoru says, there is a captive audience at shelf and within the shopper’s home that can be profoundly impacted in terms of behavior and influenced time and again.
