Two weeks ago, the world watched in awe as Prince William married his love, Kate Middleton. And I did, too. During the spectacle, I couldn’t help but think about the brand that is the royal family, and how Kate, William and Harry are ushering in a whole new phase for the royals. So, since I’m in the branding game, I decided to write down the names of the brands that came to mind when I thought about the key players in Friday’s big event. I also threw Princess Diana into the mix as well (RIP), because goodness knows her presence was strongly felt at the wedding. She, like her son’s new bride, fares well on this chart, as opposed to yawn-inducing Prince Charles, the equally boring Camilla and the fuddy duddy Queen (who we have to say, looked pretty good in her yellow suit and hat).
