Earth Day turned 50 this year, under the most auspicious of circumstances. The pandemic-inspired global lockdown, while generating a breath of planetary fresh air, has come at an absolutely brutal cost—tens of thousands of lost lives and tens of millions of lost jobs.
The theme for this year was “Take Action”—obviously not the easiest thing to do when public outdoor spaces are closed and most of us are under orders to stay home.
Still, we did what we could.
Colleagues from various departments including Design, Client Services, and Engagement—as well as some of the little people at home with them—leaned into their creative inspirations to design posters that emphasize the importance of Earth Day and showcase what inspires them about the movement.
